Bushwick Book
"Bushwick Book" is a series of short essays and photo stories about Bushwick, NY. The book is split into three sections; the neighborhood, industry and how people live symbiotically in the neighborhood full of industry. We took all of the photographs, edited them and selected where to place them in the book. Each section has it's own main color theme to help differentiate stories. The pages are outlined with their corresponding color to make a color-thematic along the edges of the book as someone is viewing it. The type treatment is straight forward - a combination of a contemporary slab-serif with a modern serif.
